Several weeks ago, a friend of mine reintroduced me to a health tool called Blue Solar Water. She shared story about a friend of hers who is 100 years old and has been drinking Blue Solar waters for years. This older woman has so much energy and vitality for someone her age, that my friend swears Blue Solar Water is the fountain of youth.
I had heard about Blue Solar Water before and decided to look into it further. Especially since my friend told me about this amazing 100 year old woman who can easily keep up with a woman half her age.
As I searched the web, I came across Robins Key’s blog that references Joe Vitale’s book Zero Limits that he co-authored with Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. This book talks about the Hawaiin healing system HO´OPONOPONO and it also talks about Blue Solar Water.
Dr. Hew Len teaches that drinking blue solar water is like cleansing the body. The more you drink it, the more you cleanse. The more you cleanse, the better you feel, hence the theory that it could be the fountain of youth. He explains how Blue Solar Water works and how it can help you during his interview with Mabel Katz.
As I explored Blue Solar Water, and knowing a little bit about colour therapy in general, I began to wonder if other colours would impact the water differently. Which led me to this Colour Therapy Healing website that explained how solarized water infused with different colours would be beneficial in different ways.
It listed the benefits of (I’ve highlighted just one benefit below):
Red Solar Water: Raises low blood pressure
Bright Light Yellow Solar Water: Acts as a Laxative or diuretic.
Purple Solar Water: Like red solar water, but better for kids and those with hyertension
Green Solar Water: Eases stress and strengthens immune system
Orange Solar Water: Supports digestive system
Pink Solar Water: Beneficial for skin and lack of energy
Blue solarized water: Different shades of blue seem to have different properties in addition to what Dr. Hew Len teaches.
I wanted to see if there was a difference in the way the water tasted in different colored bottles, so I selected 4 bottles:
– a dark blue bottle
– a dark yellow bottle
– a clear bottle
– a frosted clear jar
I attached a piece of paper with the word Joy on the yellow, blue and clear bottle. I used water filtered through my Stefani filtration system. (I later read that I should not use a metal lid and the two clear jars had metal lids, so I’ll need to try it again with perhaps a clear wine bottle.)
I left the bottles on a sunny window sill for 2 days and then did a taste test. Each bottle of water tasted different.
Of the three solar infused water, I liked the yellow water the best. One of my son’s also liked that water best. My older son liked the blue water the best. My husband said he couldn’t taste the difference.
I wonder if we are attracted to what we need. So, perhaps my younger son and I need some of the yellow energies, while my older son needs more of the blue energy. And well, perhaps my husband has enough youth and joy inside that he doesn’t need any more?
I’m going to play with this a little more and see if I notice anything, like I start to look younger. Perhaps I should take a picture of me now and again in 6 months time after drinking Blue Solar Water.
If this interests you and you live in the Toronto area, check out Kitchen Stuff Plus for bottles- they have a line of about six or seven gorgeous bottles from Italy that are coloured with organic color.
Give solarized water a try, you may also discover blue solar is the fountain of youth.
