“Deeper, I’m being called to go deeper, and release.”
That has been the theme in so many conversations with beautiful souls in the last week. It’s like there’s this summer stirring, that’s calling from within. Like your soul is being called to Spiritually Fast-track.
Are you feeling it too?
For me, one of my biggest spiritual transformations came when I went to Sedona, Arizona and experienced 5 sessions back-to-back: Karma clearing, powerful meditations, breath work sessions, hands on energy clearing and intuitive channeling. It was so transformative, because each session took me deeper. I released more and more. It was something my soul was craving.
Going to Sedona was significant on my journey.
It was the first time I had travelled on my own. And it was the longest drive (from Phoenix to Sedona), that I had ever done on my own. And it scared the crap out of me.
I remember asking about a dozen different friends if they would come to Sedona with me, just to share the drive. And they all said no, they couldn’t. Boy am I grateful they didn’t come. I went through so much transformation while I was there, and since they would not have been going through something similar, I think it would have been super awkward if they were with me.
That week set me on a new trajectory in my life.
That was when I started to explore a career in the spiritual field. I am forever grateful for that experience. And I truly believe that doing so many powerful spiritual sessions in a short period of time put me on a Spiritual Fast-track.
Now, not everyone can get away to another country or another city for a week for a transformation.
Sometimes this has to occur over a few afternoons when the kids are at school or camp, or in the early in the mornings when the house is quiet and everyone is asleep. However you decide to do this in a way that works for you, here’s an overview of the steps you take:
Of all of the steps, this is probably the most challenging one. Women often put themselves at the bottom of the list. We’re so programmed to take care of others, that it can be challenging to first find the time for ourselves, and then to honour that time, when we get distracted with something, whether it’s a sink full of dishes, social media, or a sick child (note, I’m not suggesting you not take care of a sick child, but sometimes we focus on everyone else and then forget to still adjust things so we can take care of us).
Whenever you truly want to do something, you find a way.
So if shifting in to a better feeling place and a better version of you is a priority (the fact that you’re reading this article tells me it is), you will objectively look at your calendar and create the time. Just like you would block out time for vacation, you can consider this a mini soul vacation 🙂
Personally, I find that getting up earlier than everyone else, is the easiest way for me to make time for me.
I know that idea may cause a whole bunch of reasons of why you can’t do it to come up, like, my kids are up at 6am- that would mean I need to be up at 5am without waking them!! How do I do that? Or as soon as I get up, my dog will want attention and will wake everyone else up and then I’ve lost that sacred me time. And I want you to know that I believe that you are an incredibly smart problem solver and that the desire for you to experience this inner shift is greater than the obstacles being presented.
This may mean that you stay in bed for your sacred time and create your little oasis with tools on your bedside table. Or it could mean that you sleep on the couch for a couple of nights (as long as it’s comfy), so you can create that sacred space.
You may wonder, how on earth am I going to get up early?
That begins with going to bed early (like your head hits the pillow by 10pm), and if you wake up at 4:30 am to go to the washroom, consider that an invitation from the Universe to have some special connection time within. Don’t go back to sleep.
That depends on you, and your journey. I would encourage you to begin with 4 x 45minute-1 hour sessions of clearing, processing and self reflection. This is deeper work than a typical meditation and morning journal time and picking a few cards. It’s about setting the intention to actively release and surrendering to the process to do so.
To Fast-track, you want to do deeper processes, closer together, to amplify the cumulative effects. TAKE CARE: sometimes you can stir up too much too fast and it can leave you feeling undone. Work with your health care practitioner and spiritual support team to get some guidance on what may be right for you.
When I went on my soul adventure, I had my program carefully curated just for me and what I had going on in my energy field. (reach out if you need support with creating a plan for you 🙂
Ads you decide when to do your Spiritual Fast-track, be sure to choose days that are lighter. You’ll continue to process the energy even after your session.
Avoid days where you have a heavy work schedule, or if where you’ll be doing activities back-to-back, with little down time.
This stuff can get messy, and cause you to be more sensitive or emotional. It’s not Eat, Pray, Love kind of fun adventure.
There is a good chance that the best modalities to support you right now will find you. If you are too much in your head, your logical mind may want to have a bigger say in the selection process (and that’s ok).
Trust that whatever you choose will be perfect for you at this moment.
Different Modalities have different intentions. Some modalities you can easily do on your own, while others require formal training, or need to be guided by a practitioner.
I believe that we can get more out of our sessions when we allow ourselves to be guided. So, as you go through this post, if you notice that you’re feeling anxious about doing it right, or how you’ll find the time or space to do what your soul is craving, those are signs that you may benefit from working with a practitioner. Feel free to reach out to me if you feel I and the modalities I offer resonate with you.
Here are some Modalities to consider:
Note: You should always consult with a licensed health care practitioner for any physical, mental or emotional issues.
This is huge. I incorporate Karma clearing into every single energy session with my clients. I believe that starting with Karma clearing helps you go deeper with the other modalities more quickly.
Karma shows up in different ways.
Sometimes we feel heaviness, or emotions, or aches in our body and we just don’t understand why. Other times it shows up as repeating patterns, that you know you should know better, but you keep doing it anyways.
Karma clearing can help release energies from the past, even other lifetimes or your ancestors, that may have energetic ties to situations occurring today.
The area of science that explores these repeating patterns from previous generations is called epigenetics. I really like this simple scientific overview of Epigentics on this video from YouTube.
There are some simple daily practices you can do to help clear Karma including gratitude and journalling. For me doing a deeper cleanse means working with energy to clear your Karma. I channeled an active Karma Clearing Meditation that is very powerful, and it would be an easy way to begin your Spiritual Fast-track each day.
For me, I noticed that things that I had a deep rooted story in, didn’t have the same attachment any more. For my clients, they often feel lighter, or more clear, and more focused after Clearing Karma. And it can also help deepen your inner connection, and enhance your intuition, allowing you to trust more.
Ho’oponopono is a Hawaiian prayer for forgiveness. It is about forgiveness for yourself, and for anyone you may have an energetic tie to known or unknown, where there is unforgiveness. It’s about taking responsibility for your contribution to the energy of the situation. The prayer is very simple:
I love you
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
To practice Ho’oponopono, you imagine in front of you the person or situation causing a feeling of unforgiveness that requires healing. You repeat the above prayer over and over again for several minutes while holding that person or place in your heart.
Repeat until you feel complete for that session. For greatest benefit, do this often. Throughout your day or your week.
You can learn more about Ho’oponopono here, and see and interview with Hawaiin Doctor, Dr. Hew Len who practices Ho’oponopono.
It will help clear energetic ties between you and others. You will notice shifts in conversations, the emotions that come up when you think about the person and/or situation and lightness or letting go.
Sound Healing is a modality that has been practice since Ancient Greece. It involves using pure sound to support the body with going into a healing state. It can be used to release, heal, amplify energy and uplift, depending on the intention in the music created and the sound waves used.
There are many types of sound healing (including guided meditation, tuning forks, vibroacoustic therapy) using a variety of instruments (voice, tuning forks, singing bowls, gong, rain stick, flute).
My absolute favourite sound healer is Tom Kenyon. He is a shamanic sound healer and he channels a group of energies called the Hathors. I find his recordings take me very deep in meditation, and that I release a lot. He has several recordings that are specific for things like your heart chakra and Pituitary Attunement. He offers some recordings for free and many beautiful resources available to purchase.
You can visit Tom’s website, search on You Tube for “Sound Healing” for something specific you would like to heal, or enhance, and listen to the recording.
It’s best to listen with head phones. If instructions are provided on positioning for the sound healing you’ve selected, follow that guidance for how to get the most out of the experience. For me, I like to lie down when I do sound healing. I find I can surrender more. I will also often be inspired to place crystals next to me or on my body. I listen to my intuition.
It may energize you, it may help you feel lighter. It may help you enhance your inner connection.
EFT is a simple, yet powerful technique of tapping on acupressure points instead of using needles, to stimulate energy in the body. This is combined with verbalizing a problem, with an affirmation to change old ways and beliefs about situations, people and yourself. According to “Tapping” expert, Nick Ortner,
You can discover the vital secret for emotional wholeness and physical relief. You can take your physical and emotional well-being into your own hands
You can download instructions on how to tap, here’s a link to my colleague, Carol Look’s website where you’ll find a wealth of resources to get started with tapping. And you can also find videos on YouTube. Here’s a link to Nick & Jessica Ortner’s channel where they have over 100 videos with instructions on how to tap for various issues. Once you understand the process, you can also create your own scripts to tap too.
EFT is really powerful for breaking patterns. People who use tapping believe it can help balance your energy system and treat pain.
Energy clearing typically uses your hands to guide energy to different areas of your body or aura, to cleanse, clear and uplift energy.
If you’ve been trained as a Reiki Practitioner, you can use Reiki. I believe we all channel energy. In this video I demonstrate how you can build up energy and use it to clear your energy field. It is all about your intention and your belief.
If you’ve been trained in Reiki, follow your teachings. Or you can follow my simple instructions in the video above.
I find that energy clearing helps to keep my vibration high. If I’ve had a long day, and I’m extremely tired, or feeling overwhelmed, I find energy clearing helps me to calm down and relax. It can relieve tension and bring lightness to your body.
You may also be inspired to have some additional tools in your space to support the spiritual modality you’ve selected:
It’s helpful to prepare for your session the day before, so you have everything handy, making it easy for you to relax and enjoy.
Especially when you are experiencing these modalities on your own, I believe it is important to write about your experience to help you process what you noticed, and document things you want to consider for next time you practice that modality.
When you’re working one on one with a practitioner, you have someone to help you understand your experience and assist you with interpreting some messages that may have come to you.
When you journal right after your session, it allows you to step back and review what you noticed to see if there are additional messages or insights to gain.
Remember this is powerful work, and when you layer several modalities on top of each other over a short period of time, you can feel uncomfortable, or need help understanding some of your experiences.
