I am just about to go back into full time work. I have been offered 2 jobs. One with less money but seems a nice company, the other further away and more money. Have not had stability in work for over a year or had something I really liked or felt valued.
Also, a love friendship that’s been going on for over 2 years, been on and off but sparks fly and lots of laughs and love there. Is it worth hanging on for something more concrete.
Signed, Max
Dear Max,
Of the two jobs you are considering, always go with the one that brings you the most joy. In this situation, it feels like the lower paying job gives you greater satisfaction. Take a moment and tune in for yourself. Close your eyes. Imagine yourself in each position. Feel yourself going in to work, doing the job, interacting with colleagues. Notice how you feel.
When tuning in to each possibility, the lower paying job feels lighter, like a better energetic fit. The higher paying job feels more stressful and demanding and like it will eat away at your soul.
Regarding this love friendship, you two have something very special that many couples don’t get to achieve. Consider what “concrete” means to you. It feels like this person is meant to be in your life, forever. You are kindred souls.
Your relationship isn’t typical. Don’t measure your relationship against what other people have, because you two are unique and operate a little differently. And you need to consider what is it you truly need and want, without the restrictions of how society typically defines relationships. When you consider what is important to you, and compare that to what you already have, you may be surprised by what you discover.
Allow yourself to express what your dream relationship looks like in a playful way. It is hard to know what someone really wants until you hear it directly without being confrontational. Share it in a light way, with no expectation for what will come, being perfectly happy with what is there, but playing with the possibility of what could be~
With love, from your Soul
P.S. Always check-in with your heart to see if these messages are resonating for you. You are the only person who truly knows what is best in your life~
