Have you ever paused to take a look at the incredible synchronicities the universe has orchestrated in your life? The pattern that is woven is beautiful when you take a moment to reflect on it. The words one person tells you, then the sign that you see on a billboard, and when you follow your intuition, the surprise events or outcomes that await you when you go with your gut. It is nothing short of miraculous. Have you ever wondered how to create magic and every day miracles.
When you start to recognize the miracles in your life, you become awestruck with their beauty and the magic that is before you. For even if you tried your hardest to create such events, the sheer force of you wanting to control things would topple over the grace of the universe, bringing about less than desirable circumstances. You want to know how to create miracles? It’s very simple- surrender and let go of control.
I remember one Mother’s Day several years ago (before I dove into my spiritual journey), where I was determined to get my Mother’s Day wish. I wanted to go to an area of Toronto that I didn’t get to visit very often and check out a couple of shops, including a herbalist store.
My kids were young and they were not enjoying the adventure quite the way I was and were becoming unsettled. I was MAD. I was so angry that they were not following my plan the way I wanted them to, the way I needed them too, so I could have the magical Mother’s day that I had imagined.
What I realize now, is that you cannot create magic unless you give up some of that control.
You cannot create magic, unless you are willing to let go, trust and see what the universe has in store for you. You need to be able to release your wishes and desires to the universe and believe in order to receive. You can plant seeds, make requests and yet, it’s not until you are ready to let go that you will be able to let the universe take the reins and bring something magical into your life.
Let’s look at another example that illustrates this. Recently, I had some errands to do. I was guided to go to a particular store and look around a bit, try some clothes on before I went on to my next stop. So, I dowsed to see how many things I should try on, what sorts of clothes, because I had other stops to make and I didn’t want to spend to much time there.
I went and tried on several tops, not liking any of them. I left the store a little miffed that I wasted time in there for nothing. And I released that feeling acknowledging that perhaps there were other plans in the making that I couldn’t see in that moment for why I needed to go there first.
I went on to my next stop and within 2 minutes of arriving, I ran into my friend who was just there for a few items. We got to catch up and she mentioned that she wanted to rent my Amethyst BioMat in several weeks. When she left, I smiled. I realized that the only way the universe had in that moment to guide me to be at that store, at the perfect time to run in to my friend, was for me to stop to try on clothes.
That’s magic baby.
It’s not until you stop to look at and acknowledge the everyday miracles that surround you that you begin to see the incredible magic that the universe creates. And when you take time to be in gratitude to appreciate these miracles, you begin to realize how much you are truly supported and loved beyond words in your journey.
Be sure to make time every day to say thank you for those everyday miracles. The more you do, the more magic you will create in your life.
