Do you feel like you are still searching for your soul’s purpose?
In the Intuition Game Facebook Group, we’ve been talking about uncovering your soul purpose, and one person asked “what does it feel like?”
This may seem like a simple question, but it is actually very important, so important the I spent 20 minutes explaining what it has felt like for me, so I can hopefully convey a bit of what that energy is in a manner that can be recognized within you.
What I mean by this is, in the many women around the world that I’ve worked with, this question about knowing your soul’s purpose comes up in almost every conversation. And there is a particular energy that is always present. Like it’s your soul’s blueprint.
I can recognize it in a person. Because I have identified it within myself, I have a familiarity of how that energy feels, even if it is lying dormant, under the surface.
It’s easy to recognize in someone who is living their truth. You see the passion, you see them light up.. but for someone who is hiding, or uncertain… kind of like you are under a bunch of blankets hiding in bed, trying to find your way out of your comfort zone, it can be hard to recognize. Here are 3 tips to help you uncover your soul’s purpose:
1. Develop Your Intuition
You need to be able to hear the messages from your soul and the universe to get the guidance you are looking for.
You see, your intuition is your soul and the universe speaking to you. The better you are able to understand this language, the easier it is for you to see the sign posts along the way to guide you to the easiest path for realizing your soul’s purpose.
There will be times when you feel like you’ve taken a wrong turn, and that is why there needs to be this understanding and trust, so that you can see it through, even through uncertain events that are outside of your comfort zone. You need to be able to remain true to you while the ego may be shouting at you- hey you are crazy for going there, or for saying that or jumping into such a big crazy mess.
It takes time to develop your intuition, but the more you do to honour this connection to your soul, the easier it is to listen.
2. Remain open to new possibilities
Your soul’s purpose isn’t where you’re currently looking… stop keeping yourself small, and broaden your horizon… it’s waiting inside of you to be discovered or awakened you just don’t realize how special this little gift of yours is and how much it can transform the world and impact those around you.
Your intuition will guide you to new and unexpected places. Being open to where you can go, will take you to new heights and have you exploring parts of you that have been lying dormant for ages. You will stimulate and acknowledge gifts that have always been inside of you, and allow yourself to play with them and discover the power and joy that are within them…. definitely an important aspect of your soul’s purpose, or if not your purpose itself, it will lead you closer to discovering it.
3. Get support to nudge you along, and pull you out of the “mud” when you’re feeling stuck.
Every great leader has a support team. And knowing you are worthy of creating your team is an important step in your journey too. Get help to move along faster. Gather like-minded friends and other professional resources to point you in the right direction and save you time, and most importantly energy in your “search”.
Just think of anyone who has a dream. When you share your dream and say yes to people who have already done something similar, you are paving the way on your journey to getting closer to your truth faster.
It’s almost like hitchhiking (safely) rather than walking the whole way. You are taking advantage of momentum from other people’s energy that will get you further on your journey of self discovery faster. It’s like the difference between writing in your journal and coming together in a group, like a sisterhood where you share your ideas and experiences, and link each other into resources that take you higher, faster.
Many hands make light work, and many high vibes make light work too 🙂
Uncovering your soul’s purpose does not happen in an instance. It is like digging for a treasure inside of you. These tips will help you to “dig” faster, more productively and to know when you’ve uncovered the treasure you’re been searching for, or if you’ve found a sign post along the way.
